How data is handled

What stays in your browser
The waiting plan is worked out in your browser. It is written to this browser's storage only when you select Save on this device, as a single record that is removed 24 hours after your deadline or 30 days after it was first saved, whichever comes first.
Text you paste from /status is read in the page and is never saved or sent anywhere.
If you choose your own deadline on the home page and then select Make a waiting plan, that one date and time is kept in this tab's session storage and removed as soon as the plan page opens. Nothing else is passed along.
What reaches this site's servers
Pages and public data are requested like any website and are served through Cloudflare, which hosts this site. Those requests carry no deadline, plan or pasted text.
The site sets no cookie, has no accounts and runs no analytics or third-party scripts. Its own logs record operational problems, such as a data file it could not read, without any personal input.
Public source data
Reset facts come from the public data of codex-reset.com, read about once a minute. This site keeps its own structured records and source links over the long term. Source text it is allowed to store is kept for at most 7 days, and sooner when the source withdraws it. Polling records are kept for 30 days and coverage records for 730 days.
Problem reports
A problem report keeps what you chose and wrote: the category, your description of at most 1,000 characters, a forecast id if you gave one, and the time it arrived. The form asks for no email address, and a report never changes a published fact by itself.
The report is not stored with your network address. To limit abuse, a keyed hash of it, changed daily, is counted for at most 24 hours; a repeated send of the same report is recognised for 24 hours so it is filed only once.
A report is kept while it is reviewed. If you ask for it to be deleted, quoting its receipt number, it is removed within 24 hours, and backups expire within 30 days.
Email updates (not open yet)
Email updates are not open yet, so no address is collected for them. When they open, these limits apply.
An email address is stored encrypted, and updates start only after you confirm. An unconfirmed request's link expires after 24 hours and its address is removed after 7 days. Message payloads are cleared after 7 days; outbox metadata is removed 30 days after creation, and delivery-event facts are removed 30 days after receipt.
When you delete a subscription, the address and any pending messages are removed within 24 hours, and backups expire within 30 days. A keyed hash of the address is kept so that it is not emailed again until you explicitly subscribe and confirm again.
After 180 days without an explicit saved preference, one reconfirmation email is sent. Opening the link, requesting another link or receiving a delivery receipt does not count as a response. Save preferences within 14 days to keep updates active. The management link lasts 15 minutes; if it expires, request a new one before the 14-day deadline. If you do not respond, updates pause and, within 24 hours after the pause, the encrypted address, access tokens and pending message payloads are cleared. The keyed suppression marker remains until you explicitly subscribe and confirm again.

Your data and choices
Clear this device removes what this site keeps in this browser: a waiting plan you saved and a deadline on its way to the plan page. It sends nothing, and it does not stop or delete email updates or reach other browsers and devices.
Email updates are managed at manage updates. Deleting them there does not clear this or any other device.
